Template. Not yet reviewed by counsel.

This page is a generic template provided with the TechnicianOps platform. The operator of this service must review it, complete it with their actual data practices and legal basis, and have it approved by qualified legal counsel before relying on it. It is not legal advice.

1. What this policy covers

This policy describes how TechnicianOps collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use the Service, whether as an account holder, a team member, or a customer of an organization that uses the Service.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and password hash.
  • Organization data entered by users: customers, service locations, jobs, schedules, estimates, invoices, notes, and uploaded files.
  • Operational records: session data, audit logs of significant actions, and technical logs used to keep the Service secure and reliable.

3. How information is used

Information is used to provide and secure the Service, operate features you request (such as scheduling, invoicing, and email notifications), respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

4. Tenant isolation

Data belonging to one organization is isolated from other organizations on the platform. Access within an organization is controlled by roles and permissions set by that organization's administrators.

5. Cookies

The Service uses cookies that are necessary to operate it, primarily a session cookie that keeps you signed in. The Service does not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Retention and deletion

Data is retained while an account or organization remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards to support recovery and legal compliance. Organizations may request export or deletion of their data by contacting support.

7. Security

We apply industry-standard measures including encrypted transport, hashed credentials, scoped access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage strong, unique passwords and enabling multi-factor authentication where available.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information about you. Requests can be made through your organization administrator or by contacting us directly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email before they take effect.

10. Contact
